About Scottish Rite
Mission:
The mission of the Wisconsin Scottish Rite Foundation is to preserve the Humphrey Scottish Rite Masonic Center as a living historical facility, along with its collections for the spiritual, familial, and cultural and social benefit of the community.
History:
Since 1863, the Wisconsin Scottish Rite has been serving the community by supporting cultural values intrinsic to the formation of this country. They purchased this historical building in 1912 to house these charitable activities, and preserve the culture it represents. Our charitable activities include provision of centers for education and learning, museum of fine art, preservation of historic architecture, and support of the performing arts.
The Wisconsin Scottish Rite Foundation, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization registered in the State of Wisconsin. We are fully committed to the preservation, protection, community use & development of our historic building, our infrastructure and our systems. Please help carry on this mission and support the preservation of this historic landmark.
